Mental Skills Training

Every individual is born with a set of mental skills. Just as with physical skills, we all have a combination of weak and strong mental skills. When key mental skills are weak, learning, remembering, and applying new information can be a slow, difficult process. Just as weak physical skills can be strengthened through a regimen of carefully designed training activities, so mental skills can be trained and strengthened also.

At Cranium Connections, we work closely with each individual to identify weak skills and to use specific training activities to strengthen these skills. You or your child will work one-to-one with one of our skilled trainers in much the same way that a personal coach would work with you to improve athletic skills.

As these skills improve, you will find that it takes less time to complete homework or a work-related project. Your focus will improve and remembering what you have read will come more easily to you. As you develop new competencies, your confidence will grow, enabling you or your child to approach tasks with more enthusiasm.
